About Amora
Amora is a private app for couples that helps two people stay close every day without it feeling like another inbox. Every morning both partners get the same question across 12 categories (deep, fun, spicy, date night, before-marriage, and more). You answer first, then see your partner's answer, no peeking allowed.
Beyond the daily question, Amora includes a shared private journal for documenting memories with photos, 24-hour stories so partners can share a glimpse of their day, important date tracking with anniversary reminders, and lock-screen and home-screen widgets. The app is fully localized in 20 languages with a large user base in Latin America, the U.S., and Western Europe.
One subscription unlocks Pro for both partners, there's never a second purchase. The app has a generous free tier with no ads.
About the founder
Riley Tonkin is the founder of Amora. He built the app after experiencing the challenges of staying connected in his own long-distance relationship. Riley reviews relationship psychology research from Dr. John Gottman, Dr. Sue Johnson, and the Gottman Institute to inform every guide and question on the site. He writes the Amora blog and runs the product end-to-end.
